PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency
The PGY-2 Critical Care Residency at Emory University Hospital is an ASHP-accredited, one-year specialty program designed to provide the resident with exposure to diverse populations of critically ill patients. The primary emphasis of the residency is to develop clinicians with expertise in the care of critically ill patients. To achieve this goal, the resident functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary critical care team to attain practical clinical experience. Through patient data collection and analysis, the resident develops the knowledge and skills to provide patient-specific and evidence-based pharmacotherapy and function as an independent practitioner.
