The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in conjunction with affiliated institutions in Austin (CommUnityCare Health Centers) and San Antonio (South Texas Veterans Health Care System and University Health), offers PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residencies. This is a comprehensive, post-doctoral clinical program designed to provide training and experience to prepare pharmacists for specialty practice in the field of ambulatory care. Please indicate which program(s) you are interested in pursuing when you request an interview. All three underlined programs will be participating in Midyear PPS.

Residents in The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy Affiliated Programs are eligible for appointment as an Instructor in Clinical Pharmacy with the College of Pharmacy.  There are also opportunities for participation in Resident Rounds, the Teaching and Leadership Fellows Program, teaching in labs and precepting clerkship students.

Requirements include:

• PharmD degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
• Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program
• Licensure with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to September 1, 2026 (some institutions require earlier licensure).
