Purpose StatementThe purpose of Providence St. Peter Family Medicine Residency program is to train pharmacists who specialize in provision of primary care services within an interdisciplinary team while advancing patient-centered care through quality improvement, practice based leadership, and education of the health care team. This residency prepares pharmacists to pursue a career as an ambulatory care pharmacist in roles where initiation and expansion of services are needed, and pharmacy leadership and education are desired.
