Provides direction and supportive resources regarding day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department to reduce harm to patients and improve patient outcomes. Assures departmental competency and compliance to all regulatory, accreditation and hospital standards of care.
Implements a service culture based on the principles of continuous quality Improvement. Creates structures and processes that assure cost effective and safe utilization of drug supplies and pharmacy staff time.
Implements and administers fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures and reviewing and responding to financial report data.
Provides expert pharmaceutical care assistance to colleagues regarding integrated health care delivery network.

Job Requirements
Minimum:
BS in Pharmacy is required
Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Pharmacist in an acute care setting. Minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy leadership experience.
Preferred:
Registered Pharmacist license. Oversight for an acute care facility requires licensure in the state in which you practice
