The PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, a 12-month program designed to prepare residents for advanced practice as emergency medicine specialists in academic or community settings. Residents train in the Charles F. Knight Emergency Department, a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Certified STEMI Center with 100 beds—16 dedicated to critical care and trauma—and approximately 90,000 annual patient visits. Our residency offers a comprehensive emergency medicine experience tailored to the individual resident’s interests and career goals.
