Texas A&M Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position in in Bryan, Texas, at the Clinical Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. The faculty member will provide clinical services in Emergency Medicine at CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan, Texas. Additionally, the candidate will have significant involvement in the PGY1 residency program including the opportunity to serve as Residency Coordinator/Director.
St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital is a 235-bed teaching hospital that serves as the anchor facility for CHI St. Joseph Health System. It offers the community's only Level II Trauma Center for a nine-county area, and it is supported by award-winning surgical and medical services. Designated as a Primary Stroke Center and ACC/AHA Accredited Chest Pain Center, St. Joseph Health offers specialty clinical services including cardiovascular care, critical care, pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, radiation/oncology, diagnostic imaging, urology, gastrointestinal care, women’s services, pediatric care, and neonatal intensive care.
The faculty member in this position will be expected to make contributions to teaching and service. The position provides opportunities for an individual with a strong commitment to an academic career emphasizing innovative educational, service, and scholarly activities. Scholarly activity is required; publication and presentation activities are expected. The academic responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, education for healthcare providers, students, and residents. In addition, the position will require implementing clinical services and collecting, tracking, and reporting data.

The successful candidate must have a PharmD or other professional pharmacy degree from an accredited college/pharmacy school in the US. The candidate must be licensed as a pharmacist in Texas or be eligible for licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Preference will be given to candidates with a PGY2 or equivalent experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
