Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist
The Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications, analyzes drug therapy and regularly consults with medical staff, nursing personnel and others in order to coordinate delivery of high quality pharmaceutical services to OSF HealthCare patients. In addition, the pediatric clinical staff pharmacist is responsible for compounding and dispensing medications and other pharmaceutical supplies according to established procedures and professional pharmacy practice. Although duties may vary by assigned rotation or shift, the following accurately describes the essential job functions: Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
