The primary function will be to process patient requests appropriately, applying knowledge of pharmacy practice, VA regulations, outpatient pharmacy and medical center procedure while seeking assistance from clinical staff for urgent concerns. Process judgment, customer service excellence and departmental stewardship skills are used to complete technical functions, utilize communication tools, and enter CPRS (EMR) notes under the clinical supervision of the call center pharmacist.
