The UIC College of Pharmacy of Rockford, in conjunction with OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center (SAMC) Rockford, offers this PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency. The resident’s focus will be on direct care of ED patients within SAMC. The residency offers specialty training in emergency medicine, trauma, and critical care. An academic appointment with the school of pharmacy is provided and the resident may participate in didactic lectures, and function as a co-preceptor for UIC College of Pharmacy students and PGY1 residents. Residency requirements include clinical research, completion of two publications, didactic lecture(s), and a continuing education lecture is required.
