Pharmacists completing the Infectious Diseases PGY2 Pharmacy Residency at Henry Ford Hospital are qualified for positions in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease pharmacy practice. They are proficient in the education of students, patients, and health care professionals. Graduates are also competent in practice-based research. The PGY2 residency program is an ASHP accredited 12-month learning experience with two positions available per year. Residents complete thirteen 4-week learning experiences, including orientation. Nine rotations are completed in core areas of infectious disease pharmacy practice, and two longitudinal experiences are also required. Three rotations are completed in elective areas. Additionally, the resident participates in a longitudinal re
