Description: The cardiology residency is a one-year ASHP-accredited specialty residency that offers in-depth experience in all areas of cardiovascular medicine including general cardiology, heart failure, electrophysiology, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiac intensive care, mechanical circulatory support/heart transplantation, ambulatory/transitions of care cardiology, and electives in medicine (intensive care and acute care), emergency medicine, and solid organ transplantation. Residents also participate in providing 24-hour clinical pharmacy services through the in-house on-call program and provide longitudinal staffing.
