This post-graduate year two critical care pharmacy residency allows for diverse clinical, educational and research opportunities. Loyola offers a wide range of inpatient rotations in various critical care settings including medical intensive care unit (ICU), surgery/trauma ICU, burn ICU, cardiac ICU, neurosurgical ICU, cardiovascular surgery ICU and emergency medicine. Additional rotations are available in thoracic and abdominal transplant, infectious diseases, pediatric ICU, neonatal ICU, and bone marrow transplant ICU. Residents will complete one research project, seminar presentation, medication use evaluation, an an additional writing project.
