PGY2 Medication-Use Safety and Policy Pharmacy Resident
The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) offers a 1-year post graduate residency program focuses on advance training in medication-use safety, drug policy, and quality assessment. The program provides various opportunities designed to develop the resident’s skill in formulary management, policy development, leadership, medication safety principles, and quality improvement. By actively participating in medication error, pharmacy, and adverse drug event reporting processes, the PGY2 Medication-Use Safety Pharmacy Resident will gain experience in medication safety assessment as well as quality and process improvement. The resident will participate in several medication safety-related activities, such as root cause analyses, system assessments, and quality/process improvement project
