Pharmacist (Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Pain Management)
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) will be consulted by their team(s) for comprehensive medication management relating to pain management as further defined below. The Pain Management CPS must be a licensed pharmacist with a Pharm.D., preferably with an accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency, or other equivalent experience demonstrating competency. Previous experience managing all types of pain modalities across various settings are preferred. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
