Salem VAMC is a level 1c, university affiliated, teaching facility providing comprehensive tertiary medical care services. The Chief, Pharmacy Service is responsible for managing all facets of pharmacy for said medical center that has 298 operational beds and five Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located in Staunton, Lynchburg, Wytheville, Danville, and Tazwell, respectively.
