Residency Special Features:About Our Program Our postgraduate year two (PGY2) pediatric pharmacy residency program is designed to transition postgraduate year one (PGY1) pharmacy residency graduates into a more advanced or specialized practice focused on pediatric pharmacotherapy. Residents will be provided with opportunities to function independently as clinicians by integrating accumulated knowledge and experiences into all aspects of patient care.
Our program offers distinctive features including three elective rotations tailored to the resident’s interest, a dedicated project learning experience, flexible schedule if interests change over the course of the year, and opportunity to participate in student teaching.
Our curriculum will provide our residents with a strong foundation in pediatrics, with an emphasis on pediatric critical care. They will be prepared to advocate for children at a local and national level, conduct research and quality improvement projects, practice outstanding clinical medicine, and foster skills for lifelong learning and development.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:
Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited program (or in the process of pursuing accreditation)
Participating in or has completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency (or a program in candidate or pre-candidate status)
Participant in National Matching Services (NMS)
Participant in PhORCAS and submission of the following prior to the designated application deadline:
Letter of intent (LOI)
Curriculum vitae (CV)
Official transcripts from all colleges of pharmacy attended
3 Letters of recommendation (LOR) – 1 from clinical preceptor/1 from RPD
