ECU Health Specialty Pharmacy is located at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Our team has experienced dramatic growth in patient volumes and clinics served within the last year. Continued expansion of our specialty pharmacy services to provide care for residents of eastern NC is a priority within our organization, and we are recruiting for talented pharmacists with a desire to contribute to our team and patients and family we serve.
Clinical pharmacists play a vital role in the comprehensive services that we provide to patients and ambulatory clinics, including, but not limited to: collaborating with providers and clinic teams to promote best evidence-based care and providing team-based collaboration with our clinical staff to ensure access to therapies and excellent patient experience as it relates to specialty therapeutics. Pharmacists will conduct patient assessments and education as well as managing clinical follow ups and interventions to optimize patient outcomes. Each clinical pharmacist contributes to patients’ successes in achieving his or her unique clinical goals related to therapy. East Carolina University Health Medical Center (formerly Vidant) is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for ECU Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. ECU Health Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties. Pharmacy services are provided in a variety of areas including general internal medicine, post-surgical care, five adult intensive care units, cardiology, heart failure, infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, rehabilitation, general pediatrics, pediatric and neonatal intensive care, and adult/pediatric hematology/oncology.
