Beebe Healthcare's Acute Care Pharmacy Director is responsible for operational, regulatory, and compliance oversight for the Beebe Healthcare¿s acute care pharmacy services. Operational oversight includes although not limited to Margaret H Rollins acute care hospital, ambulatory Tunnel Cancer Center, South Coastal campus (Cancer and Emergency Department), and Rehoboth Specialty Surgical Hospital.
Develops and implements specific pharmacy goals and objectives on an annual basis in support of the organization and department's strategic plan.
Prepares, maintains, and controls Pharmacy Department budget and recommends budgeting, expenses, and purchasing of capital equipment.
Ensures that the pharmacy adheres to regulations set forth by the DEA and Delaware Board of Pharmacy and maintains standards set forth by JCAHO, ASHP, OSHA and DFS.
Helps coordinate and support decisions made by the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.
Assists in the planning of new and/or revised pharmaceutical services based on new innovations, technology and/or regulatory changes.
Submits monthly KPI dashboards including budget variances.
Credentials: Essential: * PHARM - Pharmacist
Competencies and skills: Essential: * Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal * Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members * Able To Withstand Crisis Situations * Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors * Experience With Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio, Etc.
Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's in Pharmacy degree
Active Pharmacy License for the State of Delaware
5 years or greater in Pharmacy management or administration
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Acute Care Pharmacy budgeting.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Acute Care Pharmacy regulations, compliance, and accreditation.
Knowledge of 340B, DME, Pharmacy Benefit Administration will be beneficial although not required.
Education: Essential: * Bachelor's Degree in related field

Beebe's Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Employed physicians through Beebe Medical Group and our affiliated physicians on Beebe's Medical Staff now serve patients from Milford to Millville in specialties including cardiac surgery, dermatology, endocrinology, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, pediatric neurology, and surgical oncology.
