• Hematology and Oncology Clinical Pharmacist (2 openings; rotating days and weekends)
• Gastroenterology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (weekdays only)
• ED Clinical Pharmacist (2 openings, rotating days, evenings and weekends)
• Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist (3 openings, rotating days, evenings and weekends) 

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for all pharmaceutical services in assigned areas. As a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the clinical pharmacist promotes an environment of safe, rational, effective, and efficient medication use while providing services to meet the needs of the patient. The role also performs other pharmacy services as appropriate.

WORK EXPERIENCE

• At least 1 year experience in hospital pharmacy 
• Completion of a pharmacy practice residency with pediatric experience (preferred) 
• pediatric experience in clinical specialty areas (preferred)

EDUCATION

• Four-year Degree (B.S. or Pharm.D) from an accredited school of pharmacy required.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Current Texas Pharmacist license, required
• BLS Certification, required
• PALS within 180 days of hire, required (for critical care and emergency medicine)
• ACLS within 180 days of hire, required (for critical care and emergency medicine)
• IV certification, required
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification, preferred
