CLINICAL SPECIALIST: ACUTE CARE AND SOLID ORGAN TRANSPLANT FLOAT:  The Division of Pharmacy of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) is seeking a pediatric clinical specialist to be part of a 27-person clinical specialist team.  Responsibilities include rounding within a variety of pediatric acute care (hospital medicine, complex care, or pulmonary medicine) or solid organ transplant (nephrology/kidney, liver/small bowel, and lung transplant) services on a rotational basis and providing care to your patients throughout the day. Other responsibilities include attending specified unit/service-related meetings, medical and pharmacy staff education, drug use evaluation and performance improvement. Preceptorship of the pharmacy residents and pharmacy students is required. Involvement in scholarly activity is expected.  Rotating weekend inhouse coverage of one of the solid organ transplant services is required up to every 4th weekend.

CCHMC is a 628-bed tertiary care teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and College of Pharmacy. 

Applicants should have earned a Pharm.D. degree and completed two years of residency with one year in pediatrics. Experience in pediatric solid organ transplant is preferred. Must be eligible for licensure in Ohio.
