A Manager of Pharmacy will evaluate, treat and manage patients of all ages when consulted by providers in relation to medication needs of those patients in a wide variety of clinical settings.
Responsibilities
Performance Management: Ensure successful performance, set expectations, assign accountabilities, and monitor action plans.
Operational Excellence: Conduct operations to support excellence, maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accrediting bodies.
Leadership: Provide direction and leadership to management and staff, develop a culture of service excellence, and empower employees.
Resource Management: Identify, coordinate, and adjust resources, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure continuous operation of business-critical systems.
Data Tracking: Track and trend data, assess progress, and provide periodic reports to stakeholders.
Customer Service: Commit to responsive and effective support, develop solid working relationships, and deliver high-quality services.
Financial Management: Review financial statements, ensure budget compliance, and support financial controls.
HR Management: Maintain positive personnel relations, ensure compliance with HR policies, and administer performance management programs.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate compliance and privacy policies, exercise due diligence in legal matters, and model professional confidentiality.
Communication: Facilitate positive relationships and communications between departments and stakeholders.
Change Management: Employ methods to advance the organization, reshape practices, and improve service delivery.
Staff Development: Responsible for selection, engagement, development, and succession planning of staff.
