PGY2 EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHARMACY RESIDENCY

This program is designed to advance the resident’s skills in emergency medicine, pre-hospital patient care and clinical toxicology. Training will be provided at a Level 1 trauma, stroke, academic medical and tertiary referral center. The core curricula are focused on creating a well-rounded clinical practitioner who possesses the unique skill sets needed for emergency medicine practice.

Clinical toxicology is an important component of the program. The resident will work closely with toxicologists during their longitudinal experience to lay the foundation for board certification through the American Board of Applied Toxicology (ABAT). Residents will have ample opportunities for teaching and research in EM and toxicology. Please see Froedtert PGY2 EM Residency

- Completion of an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency 
- Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of WI by program start date (must obtain within 120 days of start) 
- Submission of a program application through PhORCAS. 
- Three letters of recommendation, CV, supplemental application OR Letter of Intent 
- Interview required.
