BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a GRMC Pharmacist, you will play a key role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate medication therapy to our patients. You’ll work within a modern hospital environment where your clinical knowledge, communication skills, and commitment to excellence help ensure the highest standard of care for our community.

You will be responsible for:

• Accurately filling and dispensing medication orders

• Ensuring proper handling, usage, preparation, and storage of all medications

• Compounding sterile and non-sterile products in compliance with regulations and GRMC policies

• Serving as a trusted medication expert for patients, physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team

• Providing drug information, therapeutic recommendations, and clinical support

• Helping oversee and coordinate work schedules for pharmacy staff

• Maintaining full compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as accrediting body standards

• Participating in quality assurance, performance improvement, and educational activities

• Communicating effectively and professionally with all members of the healthcare team

• Performing additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Pharmacy

Minimum Education
Requires bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, and MS or PharmD.

Required Licenses / Certifications
Current Pharmacist license from the Territory of Guam

About GUAM REGIONAL MEDICAL CITY

Director of Pharmacy BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Responsible for planning, budgeting, directing and supervising pharmacy activities and personnel, including managing new programs within the department and for the hospital. Maintains the pharmacy within established hospital and regulatory agency laws, JCAHO, and Department of Public Health Regulations. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education ?Requires bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, and MS or PharmD. Minimum Work Experience ?Three to five years of previous supervisory/administrative experience required
