LIU Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, assistant professor/associate professor position in advanced clinical areas of expertise. We have affiliations with many major academic institutions in NYC, including NewYork-Presbyterian (both Columbia and Weill Cornell campuses), Mt. Sinai Health System, Montefiore Medical Center, and NYU. While we invite applications from all clinical disciplines, we are most interested in critical care and oncology this recruitment cycle.
The College of Pharmacy is committed to excellence in scholarship, service, and teaching. Successful candidates will join other faculty members in the Division of Pharmacy Practice who are responsible for precepting students on advanced pharmacy practice experiences. Faculty responsibilities also include didactic teaching and maintaining a clinical practice. Faculty members are expected to build a portfolio of scholarly work within their area of interest.
Applicants must be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the state of New York, and be PGY1 + PGY2- trained (or possess comparable clinical experience).
