Rotational experiences include: inpatient pharmacotherapy management of acute infectious diseases, microbiology, hospital/institutional epidemiology, antimicrobial stewardship activities/committees/initiatives, educational opportunities to fellow pharmacists and other healthcare providers, and completion of an infectious diseases-related research project. Additionally, residents will have the opportunity to gain experience in the management of outpatient infectious diseases such as HIV and HCV.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree from a recognized/accredited School/college of Pharmacy required. Graduate of a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency required.
License/Certifications: Eligible or currently licensed in the applicable state(s) license with Board of Pharmacy required.
Experience: Experience as a patient care pharmacist in an organized healthcare setting such as a hospital or home infusion pharmacy preferred.
