Ambulatory Care Pharmacist:
This ambulatory care pharmacist position is located within the Newtown Internal Medicine clinic that serves as a primary care clinic to patients. The ambulatory care pharmacist position will provide interprofessional collaborative drug therapy management for multiple disease states including but not limited to DM, HTN, CHF, HLD, INR management, Asthma/COPD, GAD, and many more. The pharmacist is a patient advocate by addressing patient specific pharmaceutical needs, referencing GDMT during provider collaboration, meeting with patients to provide disease/medication/device specific education or management, and precepting pharmacy residents and students. This clinic offers opportunities to develop services within an interprofessional outpatient clinic space and practice within a high level of pharmacist license.
Position requirements
Active Florida Pharmacy license. If no active Florida Pharmacy license, must be registered as a Pharmacy Intern in the State of Florida and have an active Florida Pharmacy license within three (3) months of hire
Ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance
Prefer recent institutional practice experience as a pharmacy intern, student, or registered pharmacist or other comparable professional qualifications.
Oncology Specialist Position:
This position will be responsible for leading the oncology pharmacy team with integration across inpatient and outpatient care. Listed below are several of the major responsibilities: prospective review of CPOE medication orders, providing oncology clinical services, develop workflow across multiple pharmacy satellites, drug utilization tracking, personnel management, develop and provide staff education, precepting APPE students and pharmacy residents as requested, responding to clinical consults and drug information requests. The initial focus of the job will be to work with medical staff to develop oncology service lines in the new cancer tower and future outpatient cancer pavilion.

Position Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited school or college of pharmacy; eligibility for FL Pharmacist licensure; completion of a PGY1 residency.
Completion of a PGY2 residency or equivalent experience in oncology (preferred, but not required)
Overnight Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Pharmacist Position:
Our flagship hospital has supported bedside overnight pharmacist coverage in the emergency department since 2015 and overnight bedside critical care coverage since 2020. We are looking for a pharmacist who is passionate about advancing pharmacy services overnight, enjoys precepting and teaching learners, is skilled in problem solving and collaborating with healthcare professionals, and has a strong acute care focus with the ability to adapt to patient care needs as they arise. The overnight clinical pharmacist role alternates coverage weeks between emergency medicine and critical care areas.
Shift hours: 7 days on/ 7 days off model
