The Director is responsible for the organization and administration of operations within assigned areas and assists pharmacy service line and infusion clinic leaders in optimizing workflows and outcomes of non-oncology infusion clinics in compliance with federal, state, local laws and the stated directives and policies of the organization. The Director provides management oversight for the development of high-quality, cost-effective and integrated programs within the hospital and affiliate organizations. 

Responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day operations and establishing criteria for setting organization-wide priorities
• Optimizing infusion chair capacity by medication type, patient flow, and staffing models
• Leveraging available national benchmarks and standards to creating infusion clinic best practices
• Providing a positive patient experience related to scheduling, billing, and staff interactions
• Overseeing accurate charging and coding practices for patient care services
• Coordinating with stakeholder services lines, leadership, and CFOs to forecast volumes and budgets
• Aligning and standardizing workflows across infusion clinics to promote seamless patient and employee experiences
• Coordinating EHR activities for care optimization and staff training
• Developing and maintaining operational policies and procedures
• Collaborating with clinical, administrative, and information services staff to implement cost and quality of care improvements
• Creating a culture of service excellence

Educational and Experiential Requirements:

• Knowledge of revenue cycle, Epic billing, and payor contracting preferred
• Experience in process mapping and certification in Lean/Six Sigma preferred
• Master's degree in health care administration, business administration, finance, or accounting preferred
