The West Virginia University Hospitals (WVUH) Department of Pharmacy has an opening for a full-time ambulatory care clinical pharmacist providing care in the WVU Medicine Heart and Vascular Institute in Morgantown, WV. The pharmacist will support providers in clinic and provide direct patient care services through provider-to-pharmacist referrals and collaborative practice agreements, allowing the pharmacist to practice at the top of their license. Other daily activities will include precepting students and residents, participating in quality improvement initiatives and committees, and working closely with the Department of Pharmacy to ensure appropriate patient care.
