Yale New Haven Hospital is located in New Haven, CT and is the flagship hospital of the five-hospital health system that spans the scenic Connecticut shoreline. The Pharmacy Department is progressive, providing cutting edge, decentralized clinical services, automation, sterile preparation, and support to numerous ambulatory clinics, the Smilow Cancer Center, the 200-bed Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, and the 96-bed Yale Psychiatry Hospital. Our pharmacy enterprise has a dedicated Specialty Pharmacy, multiple retail pharmacies as well as a new Home Infusion Pharmacy. Yale New Haven Health Pharmacy enterprise is the 2022 & 2023 Vizient Excellence in Public Policy winner and the 2022 Excellence in Sourcing & Aggregation Award winner. We are 1 of 150 hospitals awarded as an IDSA Antimicrobial Stewardship Center of Excellence designation and have over 200 board certified pharmacist preceptors across the system.
Yale New Haven Children's Hospital offers a traditional, one-year specialty residency in pediatrics. YNHCH has a comprehensive level IV neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric cardiac intensive care unit, dedicated pediatric emergency medicine services, a CF center, a pediatric transplantation center, comprehensive pediatric epilepsy center and a growing pediatric ambulatory care service line.
Applicants accepted through PhorCas and must include 3 letters of recommendation, CV and letter of intent. Completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency required. Must be eligible for CT pharmacist licensure.
