Medication Access and Care Coordination – Navigator
This position focuses on benefits investigation and prior authorizations for retail prescriptions within Parkview Physicians Group clinics. Navigators collaborate with clinic based pharmacists, clinic staff, providers, and Parkview Outpatient Pharmacy staff. Being detail-oriented and customer focused is essential!
Medication Access Coordinator – Parkview Home Infusion
This position focuses on benefits investigation and prior authorizations for our Parkview Home Infusion pharmacy. A strong understanding of the medical benefit and retail benefit prior authorization process is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate expertise in navigating insurance benefits, including deductibles, co-payments, out-of-pocket maximums and communicating this information to patients.
Pharmacy Information Systems – Parkview Home Infusion/Ambulatory Infusion
This position focuses on managing and optimizing pharmacy data within CareTend, including reviewing new inventory items for accuracy, processing CMS quarterly and annual updates, and supporting the loading of expected reimbursement rates for top payors. The specialist collaborates with Payor Contracting to gather information from payor contracts, ensures that billed charges have expected revenue calculated each month, and identifies payor updates that impact Home and Ambulatory Infusion to develop action plans.

What You’ll Do:
Leverage multiple technology programs to perform insurance benefits investigation, prior authorizations and follow-up on denials and appeals.
Work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, ambulatory care pharmacists, office personnel, nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team to overcome medication financial barriers and improve access to medications.
Collaborate with Parkview Outpatient Pharmacy colleagues on mutual patients.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience:as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 5 years of health care experience or equivalent preferred. Experience with prior authorizations, pharmacy billing processes, and insurance coverage is ideal.
Licensure/Certification:Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern.
Customer-Focused:You genuinely care about patients and have a knack for creating positive experiences.
Problem Solver:You stay calm under pressure and enjoy finding solutions to challenges.
Tech Savvy: You are comfortable navigating technology, web-based platforms, and Microsoft applications, including Outlook and Excel.
