The Parkview Health PGY2 Pharmacy Resident is a licensed pharmacist participating in a structured, 52-week, postgraduate training program within Parkview Health. The Parkview Health Ambulatory Care and Critical Care programs are ASHP-Accredited. The Parkview Health HSPAL PGY1/PGY2 program is in candidate status, with the first PGY2 resident set to start in July 2026, and is anticipated to receive accreditation in 2027.
PGY2 residency programs build upon Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency training to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives for advanced practice areas. Residents who successfully complete PGY2 residency programs are prepared for advanced patient care or other specialized positions, and board certification in the advanced practice area, if available.?
We will be utilizing the PPS (Personal Placement Services) forum to identify candidates interested in our available PGY2 specialty residency programs.
Details about PPS and other recruitment opportunities are outlined below. Most of this information can also be found on our shared residency website, where each PGY2 program has its own webpage containing program-specific details.
We also encourage you to visit the Parkview Health Pharmacy Residency Programs booth (#6208) at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting Residency Showcase on Tuesday, December 9th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, to meet our team and learn more about the diverse opportunities within our programs.
