Pharmacy Clinical Specialist 1 Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health Full Time, Shift Varies

Establish and expand clinical services in area of practice.
Develop medication protocols, order sets and perform medication utilization reviews and PI projects to optimize drug therapy utilization.
Provide mentorship and be a clinical resource for staff and other health care providers in area of expertise.
Provide expertise in clinical activities relating to various clinical programs for the department of pharmacy in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide drug distributive functions as assigned.
Demonstrate ability to work with the patients’ growth and development based upon population groups, and meet standards of quality as measured by the QI process.
Bachelor’s degree required. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
Current Florida Registered Pharmacist license.
PGY1 and/or Board Certification of Pharmacy Specialty (BCPS) required within 1 year of hiring. If no residency training, must have 5 years of practice experience in area of specialty required and Board Certification.
