White Plains Hospital, a 292 bed, leading award-winning hospital, located 25 miles north of Manhattan, in White Plains, Westchester NY, is seeking a Research Pharmacist.
Under the general direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services, the Registered Research Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care and work with our Infusion Center, Hematology Oncology Unit and Oncology Physician Practice nursing staff. This individual will have direct contact with WPH Physicians, and their patients. The research Pharmacist will primarily be involved in providing Clinical/Dispensing services for our Hematology/Oncology practices and patients. The successful candidate provides essential investigational drug services to Investigators and Research Personnel with responsibilities, critical and central to the conduct of the clinical investigation according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and the applicable regulatory requirements and in accordance with hospital and pharmacy philosophy, policies and procedures and standards. Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy with minimum of a BS in Pharmacy.
NYS Pharmacist license and Current New York registration required.
Oncology Board Certification (BPS) and/or minimum of two years as a research pharmacist and
Pharmacy practice residency.
2 – 3 years hospital pharmacy experience.
Minimum three (3) of annual CE requirements must be in Chemotherapy/Oncology.
Experience in hematology oncology and infusion center operations preferred.
