The Department of Pharmacy Practice at the TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty member within the Adult Medicine Division to join our Abilene campus.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will contribute to a wide range of teaching activities, including didactic, laboratory, case/simulation-based, and experiential instruction within our innovative Pharm.D. curriculum. Clinical practice responsibilities (approximately 50% time) will focus on adult medicine, including both patient care and experiential teaching.
This is a 12-month appointment. The faculty member will join an existing clinical practice within an internal medicine ward at Hendrick Medical Center, a private 400-bed hospital located just minutes from campus. Hendrick Health has a long-standing commitment to excellence—recognized as a 16-year recipient of the Gallup Great Workplace Award—and maintains a highly regarded decentralized clinical pharmacy model. TTUHSC and Hendrick Health have partnered for over 18 years to advance patient care and professional education.
In addition to teaching and clinical responsibilities, the faculty member will be expected to engage in scholarship and service consistent with departmental and school goals.
