The Pharmacy Manager (Hematology/Oncology and Infusion Services) is a member of the Pharmacy leadership team. Area(s) of responsibility include management of pharmacy operations and clinical services in: 1) Hematology/Oncology 2) Cell Therapy 3) Ambulatory Infusion Centers and 4) Investigational Drug Services. The Pharmacy Manager provides demonstrated values driven leadership and advocacy for pharmacy. Manages, implements, and coordinates comprehensive pharmacy operations or clinical pharmacy services programs that are aligned with the overall department program, integrating best practices, emphasizing the safety and outcome optimization of our patients, and delivers the highest value care to our patients and the organization. Responsible for personnel and budgeting resources to affect the coordinated delivery of Pharmacy services. Manages pharmacy services to ensure that all quality, legal, regulatory and accreditation standards are met or exceeded. Promotes excellence based on department and organizational goals with a commitment to the mission, philosophy, and strategic vision, direction and priorities. The scope of responsibility for this position includes 24-hour management accountability for assigned area(s). Actively participates in and supports pharmacy education programs and scholarly activities. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span. The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age-specific needs is required.
