Reporting to the Pharmacy supervisor and Pharmacy
Research Manager, you will perform various pharmacist functions pertaining to investigational drugs and clinical research.
Some of these functions include:
Conduct all
protocol-related duties including: study set-up, drug dispensation, study
monitoring, close-out activities
Perform
medication dispensing activities to deliver outstanding patient care
Support the
Pharmacy Supervisor in ensuring compliance to rules, policies and
regulations
Oversee
support staff
Cultivate
and model professional, collaborative relationship with pharmacy staff,
medical professionals, support, and administrative staff
Demonstrate
effective problem-solving and organizational skills
Adapt to the
challenges of a rapidly changing health care environment
Advance a
patient-centric focus to treat illness with integrity, innovation, and
commitment

Schedule:
Varied shifts, depending on department needs (Monday-Friday). Required to have
the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health.
Hourly
Salary Range: $85.87 - $100.58 (Union represented, step based salary depending
on years of experience)
Bargaining
Unit: HX-UPTE
Qualifications
We’re seeking a strong,
independent clinical leader with current California Pharmacy licensure, a
PharmD degree and:
Strong communication,
organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
Knowledge of
clinical trials and investigational drug services
Knowledge of
good clinical practice and human subjects protection
Knowledge in
oncology and/or Board Certification preferred
Experience
in IV Medication Compounding preferred
Required to have the ability
to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health
