The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for leading clinical pharmacy services, programs and personnel throughout UnityPoint Health- Meriter (UPH-M). This position will facilitate the development, implementation and monitoring of all clinical pharmacy initiatives and provide direction and leadership to ensure UPH-M delivers high quality patient care and improved population health while improving the work life of staff. Principal responsibilities include leading clinical services, management of staff and resources, project management, quality improvement, budgeting, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, accreditation requirements and regulations, medication safety, teaching, and scholarship in associated areas of responsibility. The Pharmacy Manager facilitates communication, coordination, and collaboration among disciplines regarding identification, planning, and provision of high quality, cost-effective care. The Pharmacy Manager is a resource within the institution and to the community in his/her area of expertise.

All responsibilities are accomplished in collaboration with the pharmacy leadership/management team under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy.

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D; Completion of an ASHP PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or five (5) years of relevant work experience; WI Pharmacist License; Must possess good oral and written communication skills; Ability to relate well to public and other hospital staff; Ability to organize and prioritize workload; Good judgement and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in pharmacy administration. healthcare administration, business or other relevant subject area

Three (3) years of health-system pharmacy leadership or management experience
