PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency
The PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency Program is organized and designed to provide the postgraduate resident the opportunity for advanced training in the emergency medicine arena. The resident will complete multiple learning experiences including core emergency medicine rotations, pediatrics, community, overnight coverage, and intensive care units. Additionally, the emergency medicine resident may complete rotations in trauma, neonatal intensive care, obstetrics, cardiology, infectious disease, administration, and other advanced elective experiences. Upon completion, the resident will have the ability to practice within all facets of emergency medicine and critical care. The resident will be expected to teach within the emergency department, serve as a resource for code response and tox
